Images from the Pacific Northwest – Road trip through coastal Washington state
Posted on June 11th, 2011 by Kamil Bialous.
I recently took a road trip along the northern coast of Washington state upon the recommendation of a few people that it's an amazing place. True enough. I took a few photos along the way as we wound out way through Bellingham, Fairhaven, Skagit county and Samish Island, Edison, sprawling tulip fields along Chuckanut Drive, Anacortes, over to Whidbey Island - Langley in particular, then back to Mukilteo, Ballard, Seattle and the home to Vancouver. All in a three day weekend with plenty of time to drag our feet around.
Enjoy the photos.
My new photo print portfolio has arrived!
Posted on April 18th, 2011 by Kamil Bialous.
With spring comes a marketing refresh, and I've just received my portfolio book back from the print shop. I've taken the select best of my work from travel, outdoor adventure and active lifestyle, as well as some of my portrait and documentary work, and put in a big book with 30 images. It's 12" X 12" per side, making a double page spread a whole 24" which is exactly what I wanted. My photos show best when they're big and immersive. I'm excited to share a few snippets with you here.
If you're interested in taking a look at my book, I'd love to meet. Drop me a line here: http://www.kamilbialous.com/#/Contact/

Up next are some cool print mailers for Spring! Stay tuned!

Latitude Restaurant and Wine Bar – My Fave Cocktail Place in Vancouver!
Posted on March 28th, 2011 by Kamil Bialous.
Had a long day last week. In the sun on a photo shoot, sunburned, crispy, lips chapped, eyes burning from the sun, dehydrated, starving, going slightly batty from fatigue. When I got the invite to meet for drinks that night, I knew it was a no brainer. Luckily the spot was Latitude on Main St. in Van - I haven't had a pisco sour this good since 2 years ago in Lima, and believe me, I've looked. The cocktails are delicious, the food is phenomenal, and the ambiance definitely exudes good vibes. I can't wait to go again.
Made some photos as the light was absolutely amazing. I would love to shoot their next marketing campaign. It's unique places with a dedication to do a few things really well (cocktails, wine, and food) that create an amazing equation. And make me want to go back!
New shots from working with model Chelsea Raquel

This past weekend got a little busy, all the while super fun. I met and shot model Chelsea Raquel from Van at a quick photo workshop I took part in on Saturday and Sunday. Beautiful, professional, and I can also safely say Ballin'!! - after checking out her dope blog here: http://raqula.tumblr.com/ I've seen a few entertaining blogs from Toronto, but this one had me laughing for a while, so be sure to give it some webs time.
Back to the topic at hand - Chelsea Raquel - Vancouver fashion photographers, you need to hit this girl up quick before she runs off to NY or LA! She's a pleasure to work with, and is amazing in front of the camera. Here is proof:
