Back From Kayaking on Lake Superior, New Photos up on the Portfolio Site

Paddling in to Robertson Cove on the North Shore of Lake Superior. Our group dubbed this place "The Bahamas" and I think it was easy to tell why.
So the trip went off without a hitch. We paddled for 6 days from the Michipicoten River just east of Wawa to Agawa Bay on Lake Superior. Our crew couldn't have asked for better weather which brought us sunny skies and almost no wind - a rarity on Lake Superior in September. Not only did we manage to eat some of the best gourmet food thanks to the large capacity of sea kayaks, but also brought along a great selection of ales, IPAs, lagers, pilsners, wine and a couple other beverages. That is the beauty of sea kayaking: you fill the things with whatever you want and then head off on your own adventure.
I am very happy with the images I brought back. Shot a little more portraits this time around, and I'm very pleased. Also, the underwater casing is working out like a charm.
Check out these samples photos, and also keep checking www.kamilbialous.com as galleries are updated with images from sea kayaking, as well as other hiking and climbing adventures from across Canada.
It's been a great summer of photography and I can't wait for the fall!
Cheers,
Kamil
Greatly Superior

After a very busy summer of buzzing around the country (at least it seams that way) and managing to be away from Toronto for qite a bit (yay!), I'm again off on another exciting adventure. Every year for the last three, I and a group of friends paddle a good chunk of the north shore of Lake Superior on the Canadian side. We're revisiting an old favourite route this year (Wawa to Agawa). For me it's another great excuse to photograph the rugged north shore as well as the adventurous people I love to travel with.
Photos to follow - For now, check the website under "outdoor adventure " for photographs of previous Lake Superior endeavours.
Cheers.
