Banff – Day one
Posted on September 26th, 2009 by Kamil Bialous.
Day one of the Banff Adventure Photo Workshop is done, and it went great. After a buffet dinner, we all met for portfolio reviews and critiques. In addition, we set up tomorrow for some mountain biking and climbing photography. There are about 20 students in the class. The banff Centre is an amazing campus - it's like being on a mini-university campus.
My chores for today included checking out the town and catching a few hours of nap time. I managed to do both quite well. Managed to snap a few photos along the route. The "smokiness" you see is a prescribed fire burn on one of the nearby mountains. I think it gives the area a cool misty look, although many people are complaining about it. We'll see how it does.
Check out the few photos from today, and I'll update you on the mountain biking and climbing tomorrow.
